With the warm Colorado sunny day’s right around the corner, there is no better time to think about treating your veins with sclerotherapy, a safe and effective way to eliminate superficial veins.
During your sclerotherpay session, your Denver vein specialist Dr. Dupper, will use tiny needles to inject a liquid foam into surface veins, which will cause them to shrink and collapse over time. 70% of the veins treated by sclerotherapy will disappear with each treatment as long as there is not another underlying cause. The treatment may need to be performed multiple times in order to achieve the best results, and the patient is required to wear compression garments for a small period of time within the first weeks of the procedure.
Even with advancements in laser technology, sclerotherapy is still a very popular choice to eliminate unwanted veins because it is less painful, and complications are minimal in the hands of an experienced phlebologist. Your Denver Vein Specialist at bod:evolve will perform an ultrasound during your initial consultation to determine the best method for treating your abnormal veins.
Typically superficial veins that can be treated with sclerotherapy are not covered by insurance, however if you are a patient with large varicose veins, there is the possibility that your insurance provider will pay for a portion of the treatment. We advise that you call your insurance provider to see if Varicose Vein removal is covered.
Dr. Dupper at bodevolve has trained with several of the leading Phlebologists in the country. He is a diplomat of the American Board or Phlebology and a member in good standing with the American College of Phlebology. It’s not too late to schedule your treatment with Dr. Dupper so that when summer arrives you won’t be hesitant to pull out the shorts. Call us today to schedule your initial consultation, beautiful legs are just a simple treatment away!

When it comes to liposuction there are so many options and so many different types of physicians offering it, how does one know how to choose the best in the plastic surgery industry? A few years ago it was important to find a surgeon who was board certified, and although this is still critical when selecting your plastic surgeon, today’s advanced techniques and new technologies have taken traditional lipo to an entirely different level.
Don’t trust your body to an inexperienced surgeon and don’t let them fool you to believe traditional lipo and VASER Hi Def are the same technique. Often our patient’s question why Dr. Broadway and Dr. Millard are more expensive than the surgeon down the stree,t and the answer is that two completely different procedures are being offered. Standard lipo does not take as long to perform nor does it give you the same result. When you choose a bod:evolve surgeon, you are selecting two of the top lipo surgeons in the nation for VASER Hi Def .
Just recently returning from L.A. to film yet another segment about VASER Hi Def, Dr. Broadway and Dr. Millard are becoming regulars on the hit show EXTRA. The episode, which will air in the next few months, features both surgeons and their patients who elected to have either VASER Hi Def Arm lipo or gynecomastia. Dr. Millard and Dr. Broadway @ bod:evolve are the only plastic surgeons in Colorado who offer VASER Hi Def Lipo.
If you want the most dramatic change, trust your body to the best in the industry, trust your body to bod:evolve surgeons Dr. Broadway and Dr. Millard.

A patient, 5 weeks post op, called in to say how overly excited he was about his VASER Hi-Def Lipo results. He was thoroughly impressed with the outcome. He stressed that he continues to eat a healthy diet and feels very good as he’s now getting back into a more strenuous exercise routine.
In the mornings he feels like he looks his best. Most commonly, at about 5-6 weeks post-op, a patient will be able to appreciate their long-term results in the mornings. As the day progresses, swelling will increase throughout the day for the next few months.
However, once a patient is about 2-3 months post op, they will be able to enjoy their VASER Hi Def Lipo permanently throughout the day.

I have struggled with my weight since late childhood and have never been happy with my figure. I heard about a new less invasive liposuction procedure called SmartLipo. I am not able to take much time off work, so having a major surgical procedure was not an option. I spoke with Dr. Millard about SmartLipo and scheduled the procedure right away. I had my procedure performed on a Saturday and returned to work on Monday. My recovery was phenomenal and I never had any “pain”. I felt like I had worked out really hard and my body was sore but nothing to keep me from my daily activities. I saw results right away and now 5 months later, I am still seeing a change in my new slimmer waist and hips.

I have worked for Dr. Broadway since 2000. I was 44 years old in my original photo prior to any treatments. I am amazed when I look at my photo taken in 2008 at a YOUNG 52 years old. I just celebrated my 53rd birthday and I think I look younger than I did when I first began working here!
When I first came to our practice I had uneven skin tone, large pores and coarse skin. I want to emphasize I have not had any invasive procedures. In the “early years” I had PhotoRejuvination and several microdermabrasions to start my journey to a refreshed look. Of course, I always use good skin care products recommended by our remarkable aesthetician, Brenell.
I currently use the Tanda (red and blue light) and the Clarisonic Professional Skincare Systems. I use botox to control the lines on my forehead and my “crows feet” around my eyes. Dermal fillers are great for my nasolabial folds which are the lines from my nose down to the corners of my mouth as well as the corners of my mouth down to my jawline.
I also use dermal fillers, such as Perlane, in my jawline to soften my “jowls”. I am somewhat conservative in the usage of these products as my goal is to soften the “signs of aging” and not look “done”. Dr. Broadway and Dr. Millard are two of the best surgeons in Colorado, and I am not adverse to thier amazing talents being a part of my future, but for now, I am a great fan of our Skin Essentials staff. I can never retire! I simply love slowing down the aging process.
